James Harrison-Allen had a vision; to create a drinks company producing the wildest, most natural spirits made from hand-foraged ingredients found in the UK. His dream was to combine natural, healthy food with a completely bespoke drink to accompany it. The idea for Still Wild was born.

With nothing but a product and name, James needed a brand identity, a bottle and packaging design for his first two products – a sweet rosso and an extra dry Vermouth. He wanted his brand to be a combination of natural meets modern and minimal, with an eye-catching design that was set apart from anything else on the market.

Unique, bespoke and original. Everything about this packaging design is aimed at fusing modern with natural in the most unique way possible. The elegant 500ml bottle is sprayed with a bespoke Still Wild green. The label shape is unlike anything else in the drinks market, creating an ownable style to hold the clean and modern branding. The label is printed on a natural paper stock and hand applied over a screen-printed illustration of the truly unique botanicals used to make this incredible vermouth.

A unique design to define a truly unique product

When starting an adventure it is difficult to navigate all the priorities, but it was clear that a great pack design would be absolutely crucial for my brand. I searched online for examples of packaging I admired. I found Design Activity through an amazing gin bottle design they had done, and I can honestly say my decision to use them has proved to be a godsend! Using their experience and strategic insight Design Activity have created a truly distinctive identity and pack design that has brought for my brand, Still Wild, to life. With a limited budget they have gone way beyond their design obligation, helping me with sourcing, production and logistics. I hadn't appreciated the scale and complexity of all things needed to bring a brand to market, but with Design Activity’s hands-on involvement every single step of the way, it has enabled me to create something special in Still Wild, which I am confident will be a great success.
