Two Blokes Talk…Design

05.09.2019
Have you ever wondered what really gets said inside a design studio, well now is the time to find out!

Rikki and Mark, Design Directors and co-owners at our design agency, are pretty much as different from each other as you can get.

Rikki likes new stuff, superheroes and brick walls.

Mark likes old things, whisky and wagon music.

What they do have in common is that they love a good old-fashioned debate!

When these two blokes talk, they are open, honest and say what needs to be said. No mumbo jumbo, no bull, no spin.

In the highly opinionated and hugely subjective field of design, emotions run high and atmospheres are charged, and so we’re going to capture and share with you, the very honest thoughts, musings and opinions, when Two Blokes Talk… Design.

Watch out for the first debate coming very soon…and in the meantime, here’s a bit more about out two blokes…

Rikki Payne

As Bristol as they come, Rikki combines clever thinking with extensive talking, and there is always some kind of strategy or plan afoot.

“Start with the outcome and work back from there. If you believe it, you can achieve it.”

A very passionate individual who can let his emotions run away with him. He wears his heart on his sleeve and secretly loves to be the centre of attention. He’s in his element when immersed whole heartedly in a design project and takes immense pride in completing it.

Mark Stubbington

Mark cares about all the fine details. The crafting is where the effort is most definitely worth the reward.

“A well-considered big idea and a smile in the mind will win consumers hearts and minds.”

A real straight shooter who tells it like it is. He is Mr Black & White. He’s someone who appreciates the simple things in life done really well, is unswayed by peer pressure and has an unwavering will to stand-by his principles under any circumstances.
